Visa said its stablecoin settlement volume has passed an annualized run rate of $25 billion, roughly ten times the level of a year earlier, as the card network reported fiscal fourth-quarter results this week.

“In stablecoin settlement, our run rate has surpassed $25 billion in annualized volume, up 10x year-over-year,” CEO Ryan McInerney said on the earnings call. Visa now counts more than 225 stablecoin-linked card programs, up over 70% from a year ago, with card volume up more than 150% across about 5 million cards in over 50 countries, according to figures reported by Blockchain Reporter.

Settlement now runs on 10 blockchains, more than double the prior year, and supports five stablecoins across all five Visa regions. Stablecoin pre-funding and cross-border money movement on Visa Direct moved from pilot to commercial production, with U.S. payments infrastructure firm Inyo Global as the first live partner. Visa also said it acts as a validator on Tempo, a super validator on Canton and was invited into the founding validator group of Circle's Arc network. McInerney told analysts the company is “stablecoin-agnostic” and “blockchain-agnostic.”

Core business

Net revenue for the quarter rose 13% to $12.1 billion, FinanceFeeds reported. GAAP earnings per share were $3.19 and adjusted EPS $3.48. Payments volume grew 9% in constant dollars, cross-border volume 14% and processed transactions 10%. For fiscal 2026, net revenue climbed 15% to $45.9 billion, and Visa returned $25.6 billion to shareholders. The quarterly dividend was raised 16% to $0.78 per share.

The stablecoin run rate remains small next to the volume Visa processes on its card network, and the company has not broken out stablecoin revenue or margins. Analysts will watch whether these services scale into regular commercial use and how far cross-border growth holds up heading into 2027.
