Bitmain, Canaan and 13 more back Tether's open-source mining kit
Tether's Mining Development Kit aims to give miners one interface for hardware and services from different vendors. Version 1.0 is due before the end of 2026.

Tether said on October 24 that 15 mining operators, equipment makers and related companies have committed to building integrations for its open-source Mining Development Kit (MDK). Named participants include Bitmain, Bitdeer, Canaan, Foundry Digital and Block's Proto.
The kit is meant to give miners a common interface for managing equipment and services from different providers, instead of separate tools for each vendor.
Developers can already test the framework. Tether is targeting a stable 1.0 release before the end of 2026.
