Walt, the wallet app inside Telegram formerly known as Wallet, has launched an AI trading feature that connects AI agents to users' perpetual futures accounts through a single chat interface. It is the third of five planned Walt Street updates, and the features of the remaining two have not been disclosed. Supported tools include ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor, as well as @mira inside Telegram.

The agents can provide market analysis, execute positions and monitor portfolio risk. Walt says every trade requires user confirmation before execution and that AI agents cannot withdraw funds. Each agent works in a dedicated account that the user funds with an amount of their choosing, and agents can be disconnected at any time. Setup starts from a Create AI agent account option on the Walt home screen.

Several points remain open, according to TON Daily. The announcement does not fully describe account permissions, trading limits, API security mechanisms, or how existing positions are handled after an agent is disconnected. Naming the AI services also does not necessarily mean their developers have an official partnership with Walt. Trading losses remain possible even though agents cannot withdraw funds.
