Amaru, an alternative node client for the Cardano network, is scheduled to enter beta on October 27, 2026. ADA traded at $0.2159 on October 23, down 1.31% from the previous daily close, with a daily range of $0.2116 to $0.2165. The token's market capitalization stood at $7.91 billion, ranking 15th, with 24-hour volume of $315.27 million.

The beta follows the October 7 mainnet activation of CIP-0113, a token standard that lets issuers of stablecoins, tokenized funds and bonds build rules such as KYC and sanctions checks into native assets. Issuers can freeze holdings, seize assets and block transfers to unauthorized recipients, with enforcement on the ledger itself rather than on external servers. The change did not require a hard fork.

Early adopters include the Eternl and GeroWallet wallets, the CardanoScan explorer and BloxBean. The Swiss Capital Markets and Technology Association said CIP-0113 tokens align with its protocols for tokenized equity. The Cardano Foundation's documentation advises lending platforms to review a token's rules before accepting it as collateral, since some configurations let authorized parties move tokens without the holder's approval.

The controls apply only to tokens issued under the standard; ADA itself remains permissionless. On the activity side, epoch 660 recorded 1,780,896 transactions between October 6 and 11, generating about 337,720 ADA in fees. Transaction counts do not show the number of unique users.
