The RSGP token of blockchain role-playing game Cambria dropped 74% in its first day of trading after going live on Base on Oct. 29, BlockchainGamerBiz reported. The token opened at $0.0068 and was trading at $0.0019 a day later, after touching an overnight low of $0.0015.

First-day volume reached $1.36 million. Selling dominated: 4,504 wallets sold the token while 835 bought it. With a total supply of 5 billion tokens, RSGP's fully diluted valuation stood at about $9.3 million at the lower price. Ahead of launch, the project's predicted valuation had been put at around $30 million.

Airdrop overhang, by design

About 25% of the supply circulated from day one with no lockups, including a 15% Genesis airdrop sent straight to wallets. Many recipients said they qualified through activity on Hyperliquid and Polymarket rather than by playing Cambria, and typical allocations were worth $7 to $13.

Founder Ben.ZZZ, who posts as cyberpunk, said in a thread before launch that the decision to release the tokens up front was deliberate. He pointed to a large airdrop overhang built up over two years of points programs and argued that vesting would have created severe sell pressure later, preferring that the price reflect real demand from the start. The team skipped a centralized exchange listing and plans to pursue earned listings later, although MEXC listed the token on its own.

RSGP is meant to own Cambria's economy and treasury, with part of game revenue going to buybacks and holder rewards. The founder put revenue from the Dungeon Fishing game at about $1 million a year. Cambria previously ran Gold Rush seasons on Abstract, which drew more than $41 million in total wagered volume, and missed three earlier launch windows before the token went live.

The game's 4,096 Founding Charter NFTs, required for full access, traded 168 times on launch day for 8.5 ETH in volume, according to OpenSea, while their floor fell to 0.039 ETH from about $155 earlier in October.
